FAQ //

QuestionWhat is the difference between a level 1 and a level 2 EV charger?

Answer:  Level 1 EV chargers simply plug into a standard outlet, and they're the slowest and least expensive option. Level 2 EV chargers typically require installation by an electrician, but they're much faster than Level 1 chargers.

Question: Will your EV chargers work on my Tesla?

Answer:  All Kapco EV chargers are compatible with Tesla vehicles by using a SAE J1772 to Tesla charging adaptor. If you do not already own an adaptor, they are available for purchase on our website located here.

Question: Do you guys have an app?

Answer:  Not at the moment, unfortunately. We do have plans to develop one in the future, however. It is in our roadmap.

Question: How can I tell how fast one of your chargers will charge my car?

Answer. Take your cars battery size in KWH and divide it by the power rate of the EV charger. This is assuming your vehicle is capable of charging at the rate of the EV charger of course.

Example: 70 KWH  EV battery / 7 KWH EV charger  = 10 hours of charging till full.
